Verbrugge Terminals is located in the strategic heart of Western Europe: a unique location with excellent hinterland connections. On the North Sea, right at the mouth of the Western Scheldt, Verbrugge Terminals provides an excellent gateway to the entire European continent, the Nordic countries, the UK and Ireland. This third largest port region of the Netherlands is not only unique for its location with respect to all the major economic centres of Northwest Europe. The ports in Vlissingen (Flushing) and Terneuzen also give excellent direct access to Europe’s short-sea connections, inland navigation, rail and road networks. This port region therefore offers a full range of possibilities for fast connections with the entire European hinterland.
